Thursday’s English-language federal debate proved what Canadian workers feared – that an Erin O’Toole Conservative government would devastate Canada’s pandemic recovery and slash public services Canadian families rely on.

Canada needs a government that will reduce precarious employment, increase research funding, and invest in education for all.  Pledge to vote for a candidate that will maintain a high-quality, affordable, and accessible post-secondary education system.  

It’s so important for PSAC members and Canadians to support parties that will continue to build and fund a universal, accessible and affordable child care system that reduces fees, creates more child care spots, helps women return to work and provide fair wages to chronically underpaid early childhood educators.  

Elections Canada has no plans for on-campus voting this election, affecting thousands of workers and students who work and live on campus.
