After 822 days without a contract and a long round of bargaining, PSAC-UCTE members at NAV CANADA voted in favour of the tentative agreement reached with the employer last month. This agreement brings wage increases and improvements to working conditions thanks to the hard work of our bargaining team and members across the country.

Our PSAC-USJE bargaining team is pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), one day before our arbitration date. This achievement is the result of the hard work, commitment, and determination of our bargaining team and members across the country.

It stands as a solemn reminder of the violent realities of apartheid — a system built on institutionalized racial discrimination and the ongoing need to confront racism in all its forms.
World Water Day takes place every year on March 22. This year’s United Nations theme, “Where water flows, equality grows,” reminds us that safe water and sanitation are human rights and essential for equality. This day and theme are a powerful reminder that the global water crisis does not affect everyone in the same way, especially women, girls, and Indigenous and racialized communities.
