PSAC holds strike training for members across the country

Strike training for 120,000 PSAC members in the PA, TC, and EB groups has kicked off.

While we have not yet taken strike votes, getting prepared is an important step to ensure you are engaged and ready if we go on strike. This is not a strike vote information session; those dates will be announced on October 28. Strike training is separate from the strike vote process.

Strike training is the place for members to discuss what a strike is, what the roles are for members in a strike, what steps there are in a legal strike process, how strike pay works, how to hold an effective picket line, and more. Bring your questions and learn how crucial member mobilization and being strike ready is to successful bargaining.

Given the Treasury Board’s refusal to budge on any of our key issues, including fair wages, stronger job security, guardrails around the use of AI and clear rules for those that can work remotely. It’s clear that Treasury Board needs a reminder of the power workers hold.

Keep fighting for a fair contract. Show your support and keep the pressure on!

To win, we need to show that the numbers are on our side. Every email sent, every workplace conversation had, and every member who gets involved strengthens our position at the bargaining table.
