L’AFPC salue la décision de la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario d’approuver l’entente de règlement dans le cadre du recours collectif impliquant les fonctionnaires qui ont dû payer des frais plus élevés pour le transfert de leur régime de retraite lorsqu’ils sont passés de la fonction publique ontarienne à l’Agence du revenu du Canada.

Federal pension transfer under Ontario Sales Tax Administration Reform Process class action settlement, phase 2
PSAC is pleased to announce that the Ontario Superior Court has approved the settlement agreement reached in the class action involving employees who were required to pay higher pension transfer amounts because of a change in actuarial assumptions when they transferred from the Ontario Public Service to the Canada Revenue Agency as part of the Ontario Sales Tax Administration Reform Process.

Le Conseil national d’administration de l’Alliance de la Fonction publique du Canada (AFPC) a décidé de ne plus participer aux réunions avec le gouvernement fédéral sur l’Orientation concernant la présence prescrite au lieu de travail, dénonçant la consultation de façade et la décision unilatérale d’imposer le retour au bureau trois jours par semaine.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada’s National Board of Directors has made the decision to withdraw from the federal government’s meetings on the implementation of the Direction on prescribed presence in the workplace over a lack of real consultation and the government’s unilateral change to a three-day in-office mandate.

Victory: PSAC secures major improvements to the Public Service Dental Care Plan in arbitration
In an important victory for federal public service workers, an arbitration panel has ruled in favour of significant improvements to the Public Service Dental Care Plan (PSDCP) following an arbitration hearing on June 14. This binding arbitration award will lead to important changes to the plan, coming into effect January 1, 2025.
