In an effort to continue negotiations on behalf of 10,000 TC group members, the TC bargaining team and Treasury Board have agreed to meet with a third-party, outside mediator on October 24-25.
These sessions follow the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board agreed with PSAC's request to bypass the Public Interest Commission (PIC) process, which concluded that a PIC would be unlikely to help the parties reach an agreement.
Our bargaining team is committed to fighting for a fair contract and will continue pushing for improvements on the issues that matter most to members.
Key priorities for the TC group include fair wages and market adjustments, job security, pension improvements, reproductive health protections, artificial intelligence safeguards, enhanced leave entitlements, and work-life balance.
