PSAC members representing the Customs and Immigration Union (CIU) gathered in Ottawa from March 24 to 26 for the FB National Bargaining Conference to elect their bargaining team and set priorities that will drive the next round of negotiations for the Border Services (FB) group.

Où en sont les négociations pour le personnel de l’AFPC-SEI? 

Le processus de négociation a commencé au printemps 2025 par l’appel de revendications. L’AFPC-SEI a ensuite tenu sa conférence sur les négociations afin d’aligner ses priorités avant d’entamer les pourparlers à l’automne. Depuis, on a rencontré l’Agence du revenu du Canada (ARC) à cinq reprises. Au total, on a passé près de 14 jours à la table de négociation.

Bargaining Updates

What is the status of negotiations for PSAC-UTE workers? 

We began the bargaining process in the spring of 2025 with the input call for bargaining proposals. We held the PSAC-UTE bargaining conference to align our priorities before we began negotiations in fall 2025. Since then, we have met with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) in five separate sessions and spent nearly 14 days at the bargaining table with the employer.

Tentative agreement reached between PSAC-USJE and CSIS

Our PSAC-USJE bargaining team is pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), one day before our arbitration date. This achievement is the result of the hard work, commitment, and determination of our bargaining team and members across the country.
