We've waited long enough
Workers at CBSA have waited long enough. We've been without a collective agreement for two years.
Wages have stalled, and the cost of living has risen, but CBSA still isn’t prepared to negotiate an agreement that protects our members, and continues to demand concessions at the bargaining table.
It’s time to show CBSA that we are prepared to take job action to reach a fair deal.
How to register to vote
PSAC is using an online voting platform to securely manage the strike vote process. If you already received an email with your login information, please use those credentials to register to vote. If you didn’t receive an email, your contact information needs to be updated before you can vote.
Contact your regional office to update your personal email and phone number to receive your voting credentials. We cannot use employer emails for union business. You can create your account using your last name and PSAC ID.

Key Issues
Wage parity
FB members deserve fair wages that are aligned with other law enforcement agencies across the country – for both uniformed and non-uniformed members alike.
STRONGER JOB SECURITY
CBSA’s approach to discipline is heavy-handed and leads to a toxic workplace culture. We need better protections for workers from management harassment and abuse of authority.
ACCESS TO TELEWORK
FB non-uniformed members deserve consistent and flexible access to telework options.
PROTECTIONS FROM CONTRACTING OUT
The use of automated systems, untrained student workers and contracting out means higher costs, more risk, and reduced quality of services for Canadians. We need to end contracting out and fight for good, secure public service jobs.
