PSAC’s Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) bargaining team tabled monetary and other outstanding proposals with the employer November 21-23.
The team raised serious concerns about the remote and telework policies and directives introduced by the employer this fall. At the next meeting on December 13-15, the team will table their remote and telework proposal and expect to receive the outstanding proposals from the employer.
Your bargaining team is continuing to work hard to secure a fair and equitable collective agreement that takes into consideration the rising cost of living, equity, work-life balance and other issues.
The PSAC negotiator for the CFIA bargaining team and team members from your region will also be doing workplace visits early in the new year, with details to be announced soon.
