This week, PSAC’s National Board of Directors voted unanimously to remove the Union of National Employees (UNE) from administration. UNE leadership no longer require the guidance and resources provided by PSAC and the Administrators.
“I’m excited about the path set forward by our delegates at our 2023 UNE Convention when they elected a new national executive to steer them out of trusteeship and I am grateful for the support and guidance PSAC has provided us since October 2023,” said Alisha Campbell, UNE national president.
Campbell and UNE national executive vice-president Hayley Millington made history in October 2023 as they formed PSAC’s first-ever national component executive led by Black women.
