Register now: National panel on remote work and work-life balance

Nearly 75 per cent of PSAC members have been working remotely since the pandemic started, and more than 90 per cent want better work-life when the pandemic ends. What will our new normal look like? A lot depends on this round of bargaining with Treasury Board.

As a part of our month of action on work-life balance, we will hear from PSAC National President Chris Aylward, Regional Executive Vice Presidents Yvon Barrière (Quebec), and Craig Reynolds (Ontario), national negotiator Erin Sirett, Union of Taxation Employees bargaining team member Eddy Aristil, and Joint Learning Program member facilitator Zarina Khan.

Register now for the panel February 24 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. EST

Panelists will walk through why the government should be a leader when it comes to the right to disconnect, creating healthy workplaces and achieving work-life balance with flexible hours and remote work. They’ll also discuss the impacts achieving these demands would have, and why it is so important that we all mobilize to support our bargaining teams to reach a fair contract.

At the end of the panel, you will have the chance to participate with members across the country in a digital action to support the fight for remote work and improved work-life balance.
