RCMP Civilian Members to join Treasury Board strike votes

Negotiations to harmonize terms and conditions continue between Treasury Board and the bargaining team representing more than 1,000 RCMP Civilian Members.

In recognition of the fact that RCMP Civilian Members are now members of Treasury Board bargaining units and will be subject to the terms and conditions negotiated at the PA, SV, TC and EB tables, CMs are invited to join over 155,000 PSAC members currently taking strike votes.

We encourage all CMs to exercise their right to vote.

Day in and day out, RCMP Civilian Members keep our country safe and secure, but the government refuses to provide workers with fair wages that keep up with rising costs and better working conditions.

Treasury Board also continues to refuse to address key concerns over vacation leave improvements, sick leave banks, and other fundamentally important issues to the CM community.

This is your opportunity to join workers at Treasury Board and Canada Revenue Agency taking strike votes. Send a clear message to the government that it’s time for action at the bargaining table.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference in our workplaces. As workers united, we wield incredible power. With workers across the federal government, we are 155,000 members strong. Any potential strike action would be one of the largest strikes in Canada’s history.

Together, we’re unstoppable.
