PSAC-UPCE members ratify their collective agreement

Our successful tentative agreement reached on April 14 with the Canada Post Corporation group has been ratified by the membership. Congratulations to the thousands of PSAC-UPCE members at Canada Post that supported the bargaining team during this extraordinary round of bargaining.

The ratification process for the tentative agreement began on April 27 with a series of online webinars to explain the terms of the tentative agreement. The ratification vote was held from May 4-8.

PSAC-UPCE and Canada Post Corporation have come to an agreement despite the COVID-19 pandemic. If a successful agreement at Canada Post was possible, the same can be done at Treasury Board. We call on Treasury Board Secretariat and agencies to emulate the success at Canada Post and return to the table with PSAC. We owe it to our front-line members who are risking their health to deliver services to Canadian across the country, some of whom have been without a contract or a raise in four years.

The PSAC-UPCE bargaining team thanks our members for their continued support throughout this bargaining process and is pleased to have negotiated Canada Post employees a fair collective agreement.
