PSAC has officially launched a new round of negotiations with Treasury Board for more than 120,000 members in the PA, SV, TC, and EB groups, including over 100,000 PA members responsible for program administration, information services, communications, secretarial services, office equipment, administrative services, welfare programs, clerical functions and data processing.
Our bargaining teams are putting forward clear demands shaped directly by the input submitted by members across the country, including recognizing the value of your work and stronger job security, and workplace protections.
The PA bargaining team met with the employer June 11–12 to exchange bargaining proposals.
While a comprehensive wage proposal will be submitted later in the process, securing improved wages and job-specific allowances remains a top priority this round.
Key issues at the table
Top priorities for PA members in this round include fairer compensation, improved work-life balance, strong remote work provisions, better job security, and enhanced support for equity-deserving groups. The proposals are aimed at tackling the real challenges workers face every day — unequal treatment, inconsistent policies, unsafe working conditions, and burnout driven by excessive workloads and unrealistic expectations from management.
The PA bargaining team will return to the table September 10–11.
