[UPDATED] Victory: pay parity reached for EG members of TC group 

In a significant victory, PSAC has closed the pay gap between Engineering and Scientific Support (EG) members in the Technical Services (TC) group and EGs at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) once and for all after a successful arbitration ruling on January 6, 2022. After implementation, the new maximum rate for EGs will be 3.3% higher.

Bargaining underway with CRA 

Our PSAC-UTE bargaining team, representing more than 33,000 PSAC-UTE members working at Canada Revenue Agency who rolled out historic aid to Canadians during the pandemic in record time, have now kicked off bargaining with the employer January 11-13.

Négociations des OES : ensemble, on avance!

L’équipe de négociation des Opérations et des enquêtes statistiques (OES) a fait des gains en décembre, même si l’employeur n’a pas abordé les questions en suspens. L’équipe était déçue que ce dernier n’ait pas présenté de proposition financière, car cela aurait permis d’en arriver plus rapidement à une entente que nous attendons depuis trop longtemps.

SSO bargaining: Moving forward together

The Statistics Survey Operations (SSO) bargaining team made progress during negotiations in December, even though the employer did not bring outstanding proposals to the table. The team was disappointed that the employer did not table their monetary proposals, which would have enabled the parties to move through this round of bargaining more quickly and arrive at a long overdue agreement.
