This year's National Public Service Week is happening while 140,000 PSAC members are fighting to reach fair collective agreements and proper compensation for the Phoenix disaster.

Throughout the month of June, we will be highlighting the lives and achievement of PSAC activists in the LGBTQ2+ community.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada applauds the BC government for making long overdue changes to British Columbia’s Employment Standards Act and the BC Labour Code that will make a real, positive difference to workers and their families across the province.

Progress was made at the Parks Canada bargaining table last week. PSAC’s Parks negotiating team met with the employer from May 28 to 30 in Ottawa.

“The tentative collective agreement settlements reached by the federal Treasury Board and the Canada Revenue Agency with some federal unions this week will not stand in the way of proper compensati
