The NAV CANADA bargaining team met with employer representatives on September 11, 12, and 13. Progress was limited due to an unexpected absence on the employer’s team. However, the employer’s representatives did present valuable information on pensions, finances, and workforce demographics and there was discussion on some employer proposals.
The team remains committed to winning a new collective agreement that addresses key issues identified by the membership, including wages that keep up with the cost of living; better work-life balance; and improvements to collective agreement language around telework, leave, and job security.
