"I found it absolutely appalling when I discovered some NFP workers are barely making minimum wage and the employer refuses to come to the table to negotiate. As if that weren't bad enough, they're hiring temporary employees to continue the work, circumventing the process of negotiation completely. I am ashamed to be an employee of a government that treats any of their employees in this manner. "

"I stand in solidarity with NPF workers because we all deserve a fair wage, equal pay for equal work, and better job security. Stay strong and hang in there and don’t settle for anything less than what you deserve. Believe me when I say I know what you are going through. We were locked out for 5 weeks last year in -50. Stay strong and stand together for what you believe in."

- Geraldine, UNW Local 345 Wishing you nothing but the best from Yellowknife NT.
