PSAC’s Pride playlist returns with new music from 2SLGBTQIA+ artists

The summer’s Pride festivities are, for many, the first in-person celebrations in more than two years due to pandemic restrictions. And, while masking and distancing remain important public health measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the return of parades and festivals is a reason to dance.

That’s why we’re releasing a new Pride playlist featuring music by 2SLGBTQIA+ artists that celebrate queer lives, experiences, and activism. The list is full of Canadian talent and includes both French and English selections. Listen to the curated YouTube playlist or use the list below to search for the songs wherever you get your music.

We kicked off the start of Pride season in May with the release of the Gender Inclusive Language Toolkit, and we continue to celebrate the activism, advocacy and resilience of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities with our latest music selection.

Self-expression is an integral part of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and we hope this playlist will introduce you to some great new artists or remind you of some old favourites as you celebrate Pride events throughout the summer, and all year round.

Happy Pride!
