Online hangout and brainstorm session for young workers

PSAC is organizing an online hangout and brainstorming session for young workers January 24. If you are 35 years old or younger, care about improving your workplace, and want to discuss union issues, this event is for you.

Not only will members have the opportunity to strategize on how to address issues at work, they will also be able share their own issues and solutions, learn from each other, and talk about the National Young Workers Conference.

During this event, members will meet other young workers from all over the country and learn about the different types of organizing and mobilization happening across the country that impacts young workers. Participants will also engage with their peers on issues that matter to them, whether it be precarious work, climate change, child care, anti-racism, reconciliation and more.

Joining the discussion are Alex Silas, PSAC Regional Executive Vice-President for the National Capital Region, as well as Odeisa Stewart and Natasha Mercer, two young worker delegates at the 2024 PSAC National Triennial Convention {LINK}.

Registration is required for this event.
