PSAC has officially launched a new round of negotiations with Treasury Board for more than 120,000 members in the PA, SV, TC, and EB groups, including over 1,200 EB members responsible for education, education support and library services. 

Our bargaining teams are putting forward clear demands shaped directly by members across the country, including fair wages, recognizing the value of your work, and stronger job security and workplace protections. 

The EB bargaining team met with the employer June 18-19 to exchange bargaining proposals. 

A comprehensive wage proposal will be submitted later in the process by both parties.  

Key issues at the table 

Top priorities for EB members include fair compensation, job security, protections against contracting out, and preserving many of the gains that workers have long fought for. The bargaining team is ready to ensure that the employer addresses the challenges for this unique group of workers and understands the importance of supporting the services they provide.  

The EB bargaining team will return to the table on September 10-11.
