Canada Post national bargaining conference: members of equity groups encouraged to apply

The PSAC-UPCE collective agreement will expire on August 31, 2024. In preparation for the next round of bargaining, PSAC and the Union of Postal Communication Employees (UPCE) will host a bargaining conference on May 9-11, 2024 in Ottawa.

The conference will bring members together to review, discuss, and prioritize issues for bargaining with Canada Post. Conference delegates will also be electing their bargaining team.

Equity group members

PSAC is issuing a call-out for equity group members to attend the Canada Post national bargaining conference.

The participation of all groups in collective bargaining is critical and we encourage equity group members (Indigenous, racialized, 2SLGBTQIA+, and members with disabilities), young workers (35 years old or younger) and women to participate.

Applicants must be employed at Canada Post as well as hold office in their local, with UCPE, or demonstrate evidence of union activism.

Please submit your application before April 2, 2024 to be considered for the upcoming bargaining conference.
