I am heartbroken by the tragic death of Leïla Ben Salem, a member of the Union of Taxation Employees Local 10008. On behalf of PSAC, I extend my deepest condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, and everyone who loved her. 

Violence has no place in our communities. As a union, we stand together in grief, but also in our commitment to building a world where everyone can live and work in safety and dignity. 

We stand in solidarity with Leïla’s family, her Local and all members affected by this devastating loss.
