Marianne Hladun, Regional Executive Vice-President, Prairies

Marianne Hladun was elected Prairies Regional Executive Vice-President at the 6th Regional Triennial Convention of the PSAC Prairie Region on June 29, 2014 in Saskatoon.  She was re-elected on April 23, 2017.          

She previously served for two years as REVP after Robyn Benson, former Prairies REVP, was elected PSAC National President at the PSAC 16th National Triennial Convention on May 4, 2012 in Ottawa.

An active PSAC member for over 20 years, Hladun’s comprehensive union experience spans various positions, committees and bargaining teams.

She held the position of National Human Rights Director for Agriculture Union for nine years, and Regional Vice-President of North Saskatchewan for Agriculture Union for one year, before assuming the position of Prairies REVP.

Prior to that she was elected as the North Saskatchewan Geographical Representative on the Prairie Region Council (PRC) in 1999, a position she held until being elected Alternate REVP on the PRC in 2008, and again in 2011.

Hladun was a member of the National CFIA bargaining team for six years and has been responsible for Parks Canada and Royal Canadian Mint bargaining through Alliance Executive Committee (AEC) portfolio assignments, as well as 26 regional bargaining units.
