Applications are now open for LEAD+ (Leadership in Action)!
LEAD+ is a bold new 8‑month hybrid leadership program created by and for women and racialized PSAC members. It is a space to grow your voice, your power, and your connections.
The “+” in LEAD+ symbolizes growth, equity, inclusion, and possibility, reflecting the diverse experiences and perspectives participants bring to the program and recognizing that leadership can take many forms.
Throughout the program, participants will take part in workshops, collaborative learning, and hands-on projects that build practical leadership and organizing skills you can use in your local, your region, and your communities. You will join a community of new and emerging leaders across the country who share your commitment to justice and equity.
- Women and racialized PSAC members ready to step forward as emerging activists.
- Open to members who do not hold an elected position and have not held one in the past two years.
- Applicants must have completed Talking Union Basics course or Introduction to PSAC for Indigenous Members (or equivalent).
LEAD+ begins in September 2026.
Applications are now open and will close on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. (ET).
