CFIA: Team tables demands as bargaining begins

Bargaining for the members at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) began August 23-25 as the bargaining team exchanged proposals at their first meeting with the employer. The CFIA bargaining team received a strong mandate from members at the CFIA bargaining conference to address key priorities at the table.

Negotiations for 35,000 PSAC-UTE members reach breaking point

PSAC and the Union of Taxation Employees – representing more than 35,000 workers at the Canada Revenue Agency – have declared impasse in negotiations after eight months of negotiations and continued calls for concessions from the agency, including during our latest round of talks August 31 to September 1.

TB bargaining: PSAC heads to mediation to make gains for workers

As wages continue to slip far below soaring inflation in Canada, PSAC will head to mediation with the government to make meaningful gains for more than 120,000 federal public service workers ahead of Public Interest Commission hearings.
