CFIA bargaining conference: members establish priorities

PSAC members at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) participated in a national bargaining conference October 28-30 to discuss and prioritize bargaining issues and elect their bargaining team. The current collective agreement expires in December, and a new round of talks is about to begin.

Federal Budget: Government plans deep public service cuts and weakens workers’ bargaining rights

The Public Service Alliance of Canada is deeply concerned about the federal government’s plan to slash critical public services, cut more than 40,000 federal public service workers, and undermine the collective bargaining rights of hundreds of thousands of workers.
