NAPC looks ahead to 2018

The National Aboriginal Peoples' Circle came together for their annual meeting to discuss some of the issues that are at the forefront of the struggle for Indigenous Rights.

This included the next steps for the Public Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, the drinking water crisis in First Nation communities and MP Romeo Saganash’s private members' bill that calls on the federal government to harmonize Canada’s laws with the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
