HOW TO JOIN A PICKET LINE 

• Sign in with your picket captain. They will be wearing an orange solidarity vest and picket captain button. 
• Ensure you sign out before you leave so that you will be eligible for strike pay. 

REMINDERS 

• You will be required to picket for four hours each day to be eligible to receive strike pay. 
• Contact your regional office if you have questions or are not able to walk a picket line for the required four hours. 
• Have your pay stub available in case a picket captain needs to verify your eligibility for the strike. 
• Make sure you enroll in the health benefits program on the first day of the strike; forms will be available on the picket line. See this page for details about enrolment and claims. 
• Ask your picket captain or PSAC staff how you can help on the line.

• Shift Times:
  • Monday to Friday: 4-hour shifts between 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (cut-off of last shift is 9 a.m., lines end at 1:00 p.m.)
  • Saturday and Sunday: 4 hour shift is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
• Parking:  Members can park on-site. 
• Transit route: Cyrville Station is about 900 m from the line

Petawawa

• Location: Garrison Petawawa, main entrance, Menin Road and Paquette Road/Festubert Blvd 
• Shift Times:
  • 1st shift: 6:30am-10:30am;
  • 2nd shift: 9:30am-1:30pm,
  • Saturday and Sunday: 8am-12pm 
• Parking: Members cannot park on the base. Additional Parking is available at Victoria Mall, 20 Wolfe Avenue. A shuttle from the Victoria Mall to the base gates will be available. Please arrive at the parking location early in order to be shuttled to the gates on time.
