NAV CANADA makes steady progress in negotiations

The PSAC-UCTE NAV CANADA bargaining team met with employer representatives on June 17-19. We made progress on key issues including travel time, employment security and On the Job Instruction (OJI) pay.

It has been one year since the bargaining team met with the employer for the first time to negotiate for this round of bargaining. While the team has been meeting with the employer as often as possible, negotiations have been taking time. Many of the bargaining issues, such as employment security and layoff protections, are complex, and our bargaining team is working carefully to secure the best outcome for members.

There are six days of bargaining scheduled to take place in the fall. In the meantime, the team is ready to keep the momentum going during the summer.
