Bargaining news

Bargaining is ongoing with the CRA. Parties met throughout the day and late into the night, with talks resuming early tomorrow morning. The parties do not have an agreement. The bargaining team thanks their fellow PSAC-UTE members out on the picket lines today for their support.

Since the strike began last week, talks with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) have continued, including over the weekend and again yesterday. To date, we have successfully resolved some issues related to hours of work and information to be provided to PSAC so that the union can communicate and engage with the membership more easily and effectively. This is progress that we have realized so far because of the strike.

It's clear the Liberal government is feeling the pressure as we escalate our strike actions across the country. But we've been clear – the offer the government has on the table simply doesn’t cut it. And while we’ve had our sleeves rolled up for the past two years and have been ready to negotiate day and night to reach a fair deal, this government has consistently dragged out negotiations and tried to nickel and dime Canada’s workers.
