Just two years ago, members came together from across the country for a monumental first bargaining conference of the Staff of the Non-Public Funds. You established priorities and outlined the demands that you wanted to be front and centre at the bargaining table to improve your wages and working conditions.
Members of Staff of the Non-Public Funds (NPF) bargaining units in Kingston, Petawawa, Ottawa, Valcartier, Montreal-St. Jean and Bagotville have provided a strong strike mandate—averaging 94% in favour of strike action--after votes were held from November 20 to December 14.
PSAC and CFIA representatives have signed the new collective agreement for the CFIA bargaining unit, representing over 4000 members across Canada.

Public Interest Commission (PIC) hearings for Staff of the Non-Public Funds (NPF) members in Ottawa, Kingston, Bagotville, Montreal-St. Jean, Valcartier, and Petawawa have concluded. We’ve received the first report from the Petawawa PIC, which supports our key bargaining demand: a national pay grid for NPF members across the country is long overdue.
