CFIA members have voted in favour of their tentative agreement through a nationwide ratification vote from August 23 to September 8.
A majority of the 5,000 Parks Canada members voted in favour of a collective agreement that advances key issues for members, after a particularly challenging round of bargaining that began over a year ago. While we had hoped to have the agreement signed shortly after ratification, due to unforeseen circumstances, the agreement has yet to be signed.
Earlier this summer, PSAC’s bargaining team reached a tentative agreement with the Royal Canadian Mint that secures fair wages, better work-life balance and improves job security.
Ratification votes for CFIA members will be held from August 23 to September 8 at 12 p.m. ET.
The collective agreement for PSAC members in the EB bargaining unit is now available. The agreement was ratified by members on June 16, 2023 and signed on July 11, 2023.

The collective agreement for PSAC members in the TC bargaining unit is now available [11]. The agreement was
Valcartier, Montréal and St. Jean, and Bagotville Non-Public Funds bargaining units in the Québec region will proceed to a Public Interest Commission (PIC) August 21-25. This is the first time that a PIC will hear three NPF bargaining units together. We expect that the outcome of these hearings to have a ripple effect on other NPF bargaining units.
After holding the line for more than four months, and with solidarity pouring in from across the country, thirteen members working at the Iqaluit Housing Authority have ratified their new collective agreement.
