EB members ratify new agreement with Treasury Board [1]

PSAC members in the Education and Library Science (EB) [2] bargaining unit have voted overwhelmingly in favour of their tentative agreement, with 97% of ballots cast in favour of the new contract.

PSAC members in the Technical Services (TC) [4] bargaining unit have voted overwhelmingly in favour of their tentative agreement, with 93% of ballots cast in favour of the new contract.

PSAC members ratify tentative agreements for over 155,000 workers [9]

Members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada working for Treasury Board and Canada Revenue Agency have voted overwhelmingly in favour of ratifying their tentative agreements. Members in the PA [8], SV [6], TC [4], EB [2], and CRA [10] bargaining groups participated in nationwide ratification votes from May 24 to June 16.

FB bargaining: Pushing back against CBSA plan for self-checkout at border     [12]

Our FB bargaining team met with the employer May 24-25 for the first bargaining session since the government introduced the 2023 federal budget and Bill C-47, the Budget Implementation Act. It was our first opportunity to oppose the changes outlined in Bill C-47 since we postponed negotiations in April in solidarity with striking Treasury Board and Canada Revenue Agency workers, and last met with the employer March 21-23.
