Ratification votes for PSAC members in the four Treasury Board groups will begin on May 24 and end on June 16 at noon ET.  

Last week, the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board (FPSLREB) appointed a Public Interest Commission (PIC) to help advance negotiations for 5,000 Parks Canada members. The appointment of the PIC follows PSAC’s declaration of impasse [5] after a year –and –a half of bargaining. 

On May 10, we recognize Bear Witness Day to raise awareness for Jordan’s Principle — a child-first principle and legal rule named in memory of Jordan River Anderson that ensures First Nations children receive the same standard of social, health and educational services as the rest of the Canadian population.

On May 1, PSAC’s TC bargaining team reached a tentative agreement with Treasury Board. The bargaining team recommends ratification of the new agreement.

PSAC has reached a tentative agreement [14] for PA members with wage increases that prevent workers from falling further behind and makes important gains to our members’ working conditions, including significant protections around remote work and better job security.  

In the hours after reaching a deal with Canada Revenue Agency, we shared with PSAC-UTE members the highlights of the wage increases, remote work language and other benefits that were negotiated.
