PSAC’s bargaining team has reached a tentative agreement with the Royal Canadian Mint. The agreement secures fair wages, better work-life balance and improves job security. The bargaining team unanimously recommends ratification of the new agreement.

Parks Canada bargaining: tentative agreement update [2]

A majority of the 5,000 Parks Canada members voted in favour of a collective agreement that advances key issues for members, after a particularly challenging round of bargaining that began over a year ago. While we had hoped to have the agreement signed shortly after ratification, due to unforeseen circumstances, the agreement has yet to be signed.

PSAC and the Union of Northern Workers contribute $150,000 to NWT wildfire emergency relief efforts [13]

In response to devastating wildfires that continue to ravage the Northwest Territories, PSAC has donated $75,000 to bolster the $75,000 donation from the Union of Northern Workers (UNW), a component of PSAC, to the United Way Northwest Territories Emergency Response. An evacuation order has been issued for Yellowknife, a city of 20,000 people. Fires are not showing signs of slowing down.
