The Public Service Alliance of Canada congratulates the winners of this year’s scholarship awards! 

The winners were selected from hundreds of applications PSAC received from members, and dependents of members, in good standing. 

PSAC wishes to thank all who applied. The 2020 program will re-open in April with new guidelines and application forms.

Here are the winners:

 

National Awards

Mathieu Boucher - $4,000 AGR-PSAC

Mathieu resides in Baie-Comeau, Quebec and is the son of Christian Boucher of the Customs and Immigration Union, Local 10010.

Félix Larocque - $4,000 Coughlin-PSAC

Félix is from Sturgeon Falls, Ontario and his mother, Chantal Larocque, is a member of the directly chartered Local 00426.

Leah Kling - $3,000 AGR-PSAC

Leah is from Lethbridge, Alberta and her mother, Sherry Kling, is a member of the Agriculture Union, Local 30048.

Max Eddis - $3,000 AGR-PSAC

Max is from Toronto, Ontario and his father, Tim Eddis, is from the Union of Health and Environment Workers, Local 00009.

Francis Therrien - $3,000 Coughlin-PSAC

Francis is from Saint-Félicien, Quebec and he is the son of Chantal Lafond of the Agriculture Union, Local 10008.

Andrea Pentz - $3,000 Coughlin-PSAC

Andrea resides in Westville, Nova Scotia and her mother, Deanne Pentz, is a member of Canada Employment and Immigration Union, Local 80205.

Foster Rose - $2,000 J.R. (Joe) Power

Foster lives in Ottawa, Ontario and he is the son of Gerald Rose of the Union of National Defence Employees, Local 70654.

Sean lives in Belleville, Ontario. He is a member of Canada Employment and Immigration Union, Local 00622.

Rebekah Bergen - $2,000 PSAC Members’

Rebekah is from Toronto, Ontario. She is a member of Canada Employment and Immigration Union, Local 00627.

Laura Zhu - $2,000 PSAC Members’

Laura is from Surrey, British Columbia. She is a member of the Union of Taxation Employees, Local 20007.

Ashwini Hemmady - $1,000 PSAC Members’

Ashwini is from Orleans, Ontario. She is a member of the Agriculture Union, Local 70155.

Carl Robichaud - $1,000 PSAC Members’

Carl is from Montreal, Quebec. He is a member of the Directed Chartered Local 10721.

Kayla Dignam – $1,000 Atlantic

Kayla is from New Maryland, New Brunswick and is the daughter of Dawn Dignam, member of Directed Chartered Local 60551.

Patricia Albert - $1,000 Québec

Patricia is from Saint-Armand, Quebec and her mother, Marie-Claude Guevin, is a member of the Directed Chartered Local 17753.

Vivianne Renaud - $1,000 National Capital Region

Vivianne is from L’Ange-Gardien, Quebec. She is the daughter of Sébastien Renaud, member of the Government Services Union, Local 70019.

Melody Morris - $1,000 Ontario

Melody is from Cornwall, Ontario. She is the daughter of Gina Corbiere, member of Canada Employment and Immigration Union, Local 00621.

Melissa Erickson - $1,000 Prairies

Melissa lives in Edmonton, Alberta and her mother, Sandra Erickson, is a member of the Canada Employment and Immigration Union, Local 20921.

Owen Eagles - $1,000 British Columbia
