PSAC congratulates 2017 scholarship winners

The Public Service Alliance of Canada congratulates the winners of this year’s scholarship awards. The winners were selected from hundreds of applications PSAC received from members, and dependents of members, in good standing.

“The scholarship winners were passionate and innovative in expressing how PSAC can break new ground in the future to better improve the working conditions and rights of its membership,” said PSAC National President Robyn Benson.

Scholarship applicants were required to submit either an 800-word essay, YouTube video, infographic or song based on the following question: “Drawing on your own experience and on research, explain (a) why young workers tend not to be unionized (b) in what ways unionization could benefit young workers, and (c) what unions should do to bring more young workers into unions. ”

PSAC wishes to thank all who applied. The 2018 program will re-open in April with new guidelines and application forms.
