Reporting to the National President, the Political Assistant provides analysis, advice and recommendations to the National President, Alliance Executive Committee, National Board of Directors and other leaders and leadership bodies on a variety of issues including those related to national economic, social, political and labour policy, and on issues related to PSAC’s objectives, policies, programs and strategies. In addition, the political assistant leads and coordinates projects and areas of union and broader social justice work (domestic and international), as assigned by the National President. |
