Thursday’s English-language federal debate proved what Canadian workers feared – that an Erin O’Toole Conservative government would devastate Canada’s pandemic recovery and slash public services Canadian families rely on.
Following the French-language leaders’ debate, it is clear that an Erin O’Toole Conservative government would set back Québec and francophones across Canada.
Canada needs a government that will reduce precarious employment, increase research funding, and invest in education for all. Pledge to vote for a candidate that will maintain a high-quality, affordable, and accessible post-secondary education system.
It’s so important for PSAC members and Canadians to support parties that will continue to build and fund a universal, accessible and affordable child care system that reduces fees, creates more child care spots, helps women return to work and provide fair wages to chronically underpaid early childhood educators.
All employees – even federal public service workers – have the right to engage in political activities during an election as long as it doesn’t impact your ability to do your job without a political bias.
