Parks members have been bargaining since January, and each time they have been met with a reluctant, unprepared employer who continues to demonstrate they have been given no mandate on key issues.
During the last round of bargaining, PSAC negotiated improved annual leave provisions for public service workers who have had a break in service during their career.
“Just months away from an election, the federal government is trying to sow divisions within the federal public service after refusing to provide fair compensation for Phoenix damages to almost 60% of their unionized workers – the PSAC membership.
The Commissionaires in Kingston are currently fighting for better wages and paid sick leave. Many of these PSAC members are veterans who bring valuable military and police service to the job they perform. And yet they continue to be undervalued.
PSAC is happy to announce that a new collective agreement has been ratified by members of the Swissport Canada fuel services bargaining unit at Vancouver International Airport.
