National Research Council laboratories slashed

The federal government is making big cuts to scientific research as part of the across-the-board cuts to public services announced in the 2012 budget. The centre employees 200 scientists, students and collaborators in Winnipeg, Halifax and Calgary. Decimating the research capacity at this lab will impact key policy areas.
