Members of equity groups encouraged to apply to upcoming SSO bargaining conference

The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) is issuing a call-out for equity group members to attend the Statistical Survey Operations (SSO) National Bargaining Conference.

PSAC equity activists (Indigenous Peoples, racialized workers, LGBTQ2+ members, and members with disabilities), Regional Women's Committee (RWC) members, and young worker activists (35 years old or younger) are encouraged to apply.

The SSO National Bargaining Conference will take place October 16 to 18, 2019, in Ottawa at the Carleton Suite Hotel, 161 Laurier St.

This bargaining conference will bring together members to discuss and prioritize issues for bargaining with SSO. The participation of all groups in collective bargaining is critical, and we encourage equity group members, young workers and RWC members to consider participating in this upcoming National Bargaining Conference.

Equity, youth and RWC delegates must be employed at SSO, hold office in the Union of National Employees, or demonstrate evidence of union activism.

Please submit your application before September 13, 2019, to be considered for the upcoming conference.
