Health and safety training

PSAC offers both introductory and advanced health and safety training offered through Regional Education Programs, covering a variety of health and safety topics including:

  • Introductory Health and Safety
  • Health and Safety Committee Member Training
  • Health and Safety Activism
  • Workers’ Compensation
  • Duty to Accommodate
  • Harassment in the Workplace
  • Preventing Violence in the Workplace
  • Mental Health

Many more courses, (not directly related to Health and Safety) such as Talking Union Basics (TUB), Grievance Handling, Introduction for Local Officers, Steward’s Training and Political Action are also offered by Regional Education Programs.
