Our bargaining team will be in negotiations with Canada Post Corporation starting on October 30 until November 3.

Telephone town hall meetings on the status of our negotiations with Canada Post were held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. Three separate meetings were held to accommodate members in different time zones.

Our team fully considered the employer’s global offer and prepared a counter -proposal which we tabled on September 27.

Our PSAC bargaining team and management at Canada Post were back at the negotiations table in Ottawa from September 27 to 29, 2017.

August 10, 2017

Canada Post Corporation submitted a global offer to our union yesterday. Our bargaining team is reviewing the offer and will respond to the employer during our next bargaining session scheduled for the end of September.

This week, our bargaining team focused their efforts on union proposals.  We spent a considerable amount of time in caucus finalizing our outstanding demands.

Hassan Husseini will be taking over for Tom Milne as our negotiator in our bargaining with Canada Post.

Hassan will be at the bargaining table in the sessions following our scheduled dates of July 25 to 27, 2017.
